Rank Applications
IC Name: Yumi / Yutsu
Byond Key: Truthful_Heart / Whiven
Skype : Wixvhen
Rank (Grade): (A-) to (A+) Kazekage
Village: Sunagakure || Village Hidden in the Sand
Specs: Sand Manipulation
Age: 28

RP Example 1: (Keeping it short since there's another example below it.)
Yutsu frowned as both the teachers and students seemed to disapprove of her taking over the class. "We're going to be teaching you how to throw, and you need to familiarize yourself with hitting human targets. So yes, you will be throwing them at me." She claimed once again. "Everybody pick up your weapons and do your best. The first person to hit me will get trained by me personally!" She declared loudly. Standing at the end of the range, she could see every single one of the kids instantly pick up their wooden weapons and prepare their throwing arms. Raising her arms, two hills of sand began to roll across the ground back and forth in front of her. "And... Begin!" She declared as every arm instantly flew forward, chucking their wood weapons towards their official new teacher of the day.

Story Placement//RP Example 2: (SUNA CREATION STORY AHEAD! VERY LONG!)
Yutsu watched as the tribes gathered together. Another feeble attempt to form Sunagakure again. She had seen this happen a dozen times. A few small tribes gathered together, tried to build a few walls, and fell apart. It was pathetic. They always did it wrong. You could never create a village on such a soft foundation. Turning to her own tribe she frowned. The few who weren't out hunting were watching with slightly hopeful eyes to see if the people could try to erect the sand stone.

"Yutsu, you shouldn't continue to doubt them. This new group seems to know what they're doing. They even started from the edges this time." Her second claimed. The older woman nodded. "Maybe, but they're building on sand, again. A village cannot stand when there is no solid ground beneath them." The lavender haired woman claimed as she watched the feeble attempts. "But you could change that." The second in command claimed. Looking at them, the sand visibly quaked in annoyance. "And you would have me help?" The cold glare pierced the right hand of the tribe leader.

"No." The glare immediately softened. "I would have you lead." They added, before turning back to their own duties. The gaze of the woman turned to the torches surrounding the large oasis again. It was true, these people had knowledge beyond the others. They knew what they were trying to do. And they were prepared for the end result. But not the beginning. Their walls would fall upon the first storm that arose.

Turning to the people of her tribe, she had to consider for a moment... Would it be so bad to exist as more... To provide something greater than survival and the occasional revelry. Closing her eyes, she had to wrestle with the decision hard before coming to a conclusion. "Nanase, Yuji, get the energy potion." She commanded from her place near the tents, still watching the hustle and bustle of the group in the distance. Two people arrived at her sides, holding bottles of a yellow liquid, sickening in smell.

Grabbing the nearest two, she began to drink the juice, the pungent flavor nearly causing her to gag. The two next to her were instantly alarmed. "That much could--" "Two more." Yutsu commanded, stopping the complaint of the children at her side. Chugging the last two, she turned to the children. "Prepare the bed and medicine. Tell my number two to watch my body when I return." She explained.

The sand around her feet began to pull her in before rising from the ground, pulling her into the air towards the would-be budding village. There were shouts as she came close, some angry, some alarmed, none friendly. When she landed in the dead center next to the oasis, she was instantly surrounded by swords, knives, and men with rope. One among them stepped forward and demanded an explanation.

"Your village will fall like all the others before it. You're trying to create a castle on sand. There's no solid ground here to build on, and eventually the sands will simply swallow you whole like it did those before you." She explained, feeling annoyed at their assuming her to be hostile. Leering at the woman, the insult to their intelligence bearing heavy weight, apparently, the man in charge asked her why she came. Quietly she looked around at those around her... Were they worthy... She would soon find out. "To lead." Sh declared before raising either of her hands.

The quake that followed shook all of the blades pointed towards her as they went to the ground for balance. Voices, some panicked, some alarmed, and some in utter shock, began to scatter around her as the potion began to kick in. The sand under their feet began to stiffen while it flattened. The quake wasn't a shaking of the earth to break it apart. It was to flatten it. To create the solid ground. As the voices turned from alarmed to angry, the blades slowly rose to her again. She either didn't know or didn't care as she seemed to be visibly struggling in place to stand. A few moments of curiosity were soon answered as the grinding grumbling of the earth began to rise all around.

At first it seemed as though a platform was forming around the area she had created for them. However, they began to rise. Quickly. At first a few feet... Ten... Twenty... Thirty... The finally stopped growing as the wall completely surrounded all of those within. Fearful and angry shouts turned to the woman, while others began to drop their weapons. If she had wanted to hurt them it would already be done, and they knew it.

Raising both hands, open palm, towards the south east, towards her tribe, the men in that direction scattered before turning to see what would happen. The walls that had formed of the sandstone there shattered outward moments later creating an exit. Many of the people not holding weapons, more than likely the merchants and hunters, looked towards the exit longingly.

Sweat was pouring from the woman. Her skin was turning a color not normal for a human. A sickening color that spoke of the terrible strain she was under... As her arms went to her side. Looking to the north, she rose an open palm up towards the air as a bubble of sandstone began to grow out from the earth. It wasn't long before the scared voices turned to awe-struck tones. One bubble after another began to slowly rise from the sand, doorways forming on the south-side of them.

It was now that the people began to realize she wasn't a threat. She wasn't an invader. She wasn't a tribal ruining their future home. She was creating their home. Lavender hair was now glued to her face as the final sandstone buildings finally finished forming. Dropping to her hands and knees, a yellow puke covered the ground beneath the discolored woman before she landed on the ground, passed out.

Before the would be attackers... Or perhaps thankful allies... Could touch her, a man, a woman, and two children, foreigners that hadn't been part of the tribes that came together rushed to her side. Picking her up they turned to the men and women who had been wary of Yutsu before. "Yutsu has seen fit to give you this chance. She'll return in a week to lead you. Do not ruin this land before then." They claim.

Returning Yutsu to the village, the second cursed profanity at the unconcious tribe leader. "You let her poison herself this badly." They practically accused the children. The two who had helped carry the now visibly green woman instantly shied away from their wrathful elder. Sighing, the leader was tended to. "You did not need to do this to yourself to lead them. Why would you go this far...? You could have easily led them and done all of this over the course of months... Maybe even weeks... So why...?" They asked, honestly bothered by the careless actions of the unconcious woman. "To... Make... Them... Believe..." The strained words were issued from the tribe leader.

Shaking their head, the second smiled weakly. The 'village' was now going to continue building around the world that Yutsu created, believing in the person who nearly killed herself for them. Yutsu would spend a week, or even more, being treated for the energy potion that she poisoned herself with. Upon the day of her arrival within the walls of sandstone surrounding the oasis... She was presented, not with leers of fear or watchful gazes of the cautious... But admiration. Admiration of a people whole believed that they were protected and cared for. Whether they would have her lead or be led... Her tribe would find a home among these people, within the walls she created. The walls that were now called 'Sunagakure'.

Final Note: Regardless of Kazekage or not, I do like the idea of this character becoming a part of the lore, or even being a C+ Chuunin level who took extreme substances to create something greater than themselves. The 'energy potions' are obviously chakra enhancements with extreme side effects. I kept the 'second' unnamed and un-gendered so that they could be placed in game by an IC character.
