History: The Dotoyakeru clan has inhabited the world since time immemorial- their histories and traditions extend back to before very dawn of the villages. However, unlike the vast majority of clans they have, by and large, deliberately elected to not associate with any particular village. This has led to them being looked upon with distrust by the ninja world at large, often reviled as little more than a nomadic coalition of insane arsonists (a stance taken not without justification- the Dotoyakeru, in keeping with their aggressive nature, have often had few qualms about wreaking wanton havoc throughout the areas they travel.) According to their oral tradition, the clan traces it's origin to a proud, fierce, red-haired warrior woman named Shirenai from before the ninja arts were ever invented, who become lover to the ancient fire god Kossuth- who, according to the Dotoyakeru, is the inventor of fire and a being whose fire burns brighter than even the more commonly worshiped Amaterasu. The myth goes that the children of this union between mortals and gods were the first fire lords, and from that point began the long distinguished lineage that the clan claims. In reality, however, little is factually known about the clans history, as it has never kept written texts, and its many myths and stories have been purely passed down orally. While they're may be some truths in the grand tales passed down through the generations, at this point even the most exceptional historical scholars of the Fire nation would have trouble separating fact from fiction. There, are however, several baseline facts that are accepted by most, and historically have played a tremendous role in shaping the clans culture and beliefs.

One such fact is the tradition of several legendary figures that appear throughout the clans history. Typically once every few generations, a member of the clan would rise far beyond others- even, in particularly rare cases, being able to stand on even footing with the most powerful ninjas in organized villages. The presence of such powerful members of such an unstable society naturally were the cause great consternation for the villages and nations (typically the Land of Fire) . One such member served under the Uchiha clan during the period of strife before the foundation of Konoha. Another is purported to have, with raw power, created an active volcano in the Land of Earth that is still smolders to this day. These legends are known as “Fire Sages” and have often been scourges to the various organized shinobi villages and nations. Indeed, in one such instance, a particular sage, who lived some 200 years past by the name of Hideo, a shinobi whose power rivaled (or, according the Dotoyakeru, exceeded) that of the Hokage, and who was able to temper the burning rage and aggression that was every Dotoyakeru's inheritance and led the Dotoyakeru clan to become a major threat to Konoha itself, with the possibility of causing a war that could leave hundreds dead. Thus, the leadership of Konoha orchestrated Hideo's assassination at the hand of the Anbu Black Ops. Because of this, the clan has held a long time grudge against the village ) viewing shinobi of Konoha as backstabbers, liars, and villains.

Due to the chaotic, temperamental nature possessed by many clan members, the Dotoyakeru have found little sympathy or acceptance in the ninja world- and that is a circumstance they had, for centuries been utterly content with. The structure of village life, and the often rigid order of national military forces is largely looked on by disdain by the freedom-craving Dotoyakeru. Oftentimes, clan members try to emulate the essence of fire in creating their lifestyles, which has lead to the clan having a long and storied history of being a destructive wandering force, that like a wildfire, has a tendency to consume everything in it's path. However, due to the typical lack of organization, its presence in the land of fire had long been treated as a mere nuisance- as the clan never was able to reach the heights it had under Hideo. However, when the clan sabotaged the chunin exams – leading to the murder of dozens of genin from across the world, Konoha decided it had had enough. Over a series of months, it launched and extermination campaign to purge the plague that was the Dotoyakeru. Few survived these destructive strikes, and those that did survive were largely scattered across the country and beyond, and it would seem they no longer pose a true threat to Konohagakure. A good riddance, in the eyes of virtually the entire ninja world, save those few survivors, who even now, are fanning flames of hate.
 

Abilities of the Clan: The Firelord's art: The kekkei-genkai innately and irreversibly ensures that those born with Dotoyakeru heritage are gifted (or, in some's perspective, cursed) with purely fire element chakra. Clan members only possess this chakra, and no matter how hard they train, will never be able to develop the use of any other element. However, at using this destructive force, their proficiency far exceeds those of similar skill levels. Additionally, clan members have tremendous natural resistance to fire and heat, capable of resisting natural flames (and hot temperatures)of any extreme. This defence is so potent, that even chakra based flames and heat are substantially resisted by the body of a Dotoyakeru clan member: Fire jutsu, and any jutsu that relies on extremely hot temperatures to inflict damage, do not inflict damage unless they are two sub-ranks superior to the rank of the clan member subjected to the attack. Finally, clan members innate fire chakra allows them to perform their fire techniques far more efficiently and naturally than other shinobi, because of this, fire jutsu they perform takes roughly 25% less chakra.

The other factor in the Kekkei Genkai is often referred to as the “Fiery Soul” trait. As a Dotoyakeru clan member channels his fire chakra, it activates his adrenaline gland, which releases a special, fire chakra infused form of adrenalin into the bloodstream. The more chakra that is channelled, the greater the amount of adrenalin released. This unique substance, as it is fuelled by chakra, can boost a clan member's strength, speed, and stamina by amounts that greatly exceed standard adrenalin rushes. This causes the user's body, the more the fire chakra that is channelled in quick succession, to rapidly physical capacities. However, this process is a double-edged sword. As the energy that enhances a Dotoyakeru clan member's physical capacities accumulates, their mental faculties gradually become inhibited: they lose the ability to strategize, act cautiously, and, if the amount continues past a certain point, they become altogether incoherent, and become creatures of immense physical power and pure aggression. If they do not cast any fire jutsu for a period of time however, this effect can evaporate as quickly as it escalates. Fiery Soul is in fact an extremely rare technique which many clan members never get to achieve due to it's unpredictable nature. According to unknown sources, Fiery Soul is only attainable once a user has completely mastered the fire element. Upon meeting these requirements, it is stated in legend that the clan member will be contacted by spirits of the unknown which are directly linked to the clan's heritage. Upon contact, the clan member is exposed to the truth of their clan and what the future has in store for it's prosperity and well being. This however, isn't the end. Upon establishing proper contact with the spirits, the clan member has to endure a series of meditation periods upon which they have to come to realisation of what true chaos is. As this is the basis of the technique itself, before the user is able to activate it they have to be one with chaos, however, this is said to take countless years of direct training and it is certainly not a technique that has been achieved by countless numbers. In fact, less than five members in all of the clan's history have been able to reach this form and for all of them, it took a period of at least five years before activation.

What you plan to do: Gungnir himself has a different view when compared to your average Dotoyakeru clan member. Instead of hating Konohagakure for the extermination for a larger majority of his clan, he understands it. He views his clan's extermination as a clean slate as there is still a handful of members to actually initiate a change in their overall actions. He doesn't want to live like a crazed arsonist but rather, he wants to be recognised as a legitimate Shinobi of Konohagakure. His goal is a simple one and it's certainly not one he expects to achieve immediately due to the destructive nature his clan has portrayed in the past.

Role-play Example: Gungnir quickly pulled out his index finger and his middle finger from the depths of his coat within an instance. His dark brown eyes quickly pierced through the air as he allowed his optics to examine the trio once more. Upon doing so, he allowed his fingers to slide downwards in a sharp motion as a large rip seemingly appeared out of nowhere. It's two dimensional complex design flickered through the air for a brief second as his eyes quickly rested upon the ignorant Vasto.

  "Then you underestimate us. The power we have locked up within here. . ." pulled out his left hand, allowing his index finger to rest upon the spot where his heart should have been. "Is incredible. . . Don't judge us by what you see up front." the male muttered before he quickly moved onwards, allowing his feet to step into the dark abyss that stood before him. His cloak quickly disappeared along with the rest of his emotionless body, allowing a dark whisp of energy to radiate outwards from the core of the void. Within mere moments, it had sealed shut, leaving no trace of it's previous existence.

"Any fire jutsu they know how to perform no longer requires the use of a sequence of hand signs- rather the clan member need only channel his fire chakra, and perform whatever gesture the unleashing of the jutsu may require (i.e. raising one's hand to one's mouth and exhaling for Fireball Jutsu) to activate any fire element jutsu they know- a feat that often takes unsuspecting foes off guard. "

This right here got me a little sketchy, that's borderline manipulation. I see a lot of situations where perks will be asked for as a trading card game.

Again a bit too overpower especially when all you need to unlock this is "Fiery Soul can only be achieved by a Dotoyakeru member after they have endured a brief moment of pure stress and or pain."

Alright, I've edited your first point and removed that aspect of the clan entirely.

  With the second point, I made 'Fiery Soul' a far harder technique to achieve due to the fact the user has to have mastered the element of fire and along with that, they  have to have witnessed the death of a loved one. Someone so close to their heart that they would die for them. So it can't simply be a generic friend you have known for a long time.

My judgement on this is, well.. I don't have an issue with this, but, it sounds like it has the 8 Gates Aspect, and to achieve it like a Sharingan. (One of the ways to obtain it at least.)

A mental and physical realisation of how to actually activate the Fiery Soul and thus, become a symbolic representation of the clan's past basically.

  Basically, it's unlocking to the key to use their chakra in the manner Fiery Soul requires and as stated, it takes an extremely long time to achieve this 'key'; True Chaos
